Ed Verhamme will be joining us to talk about Limno Tech and some projects that he has been working on. Ed attended Michigan Tech
for both bachelors and masters degrees.
-Ed has been working on developing a full eutrophication model in 3D for
a 100 mile stretch of the Mississippi River from Minneapolis down to Lake
Pepin. He is also working on refining a 3D model of Lake Ontario to
develop a TMDL for PCBs. He has also worked on developing nutrient
criteria for lakes and reservoirs in the State of Indiana, an extensive
literature search on the economic impact of invasive species in freshwater systems of the US.
